Flat roofs

A properly installed flat roof is very important construction element of any building  with respect to lifetime, reduction in energy consumption and energy efficiency. Defects in the older roof decks resulted especially from the bad design of structure and unsuitable materials,  defective work about the specific details and insufficient thickness of thermal insulation. The flat roof as a other building constructions needs a technical project of structure, which resulted from the objects operation conditions. Basically, these factors affect the conception, design and protection of thermal insulation. 

NOBASIL mineral – basalt insulation products are very suitable materials intended for technical thermal and fireproofing insulation of the flat roofs according to a very  specific criteria.

The main principles of  the NOBASIL insulation material application

• to apply the spot gluing system or continuous gluing to the dry smooth and level surface
• to use the mechanical anchoring by plate spacers : 2 - 5 anchors per panel with respect to stressed place of the flat roof 
• to sandwich the insulation material  with the changing  joints in  individual layers
• to install the insulation material only in dry conditions and dry weather
• to vent  the air conduit  at level of  thermal insulation
